Now in its third generation of management, Alert Alarm Company has been serving Southwest Kansas since 1971. Alert Alarm Co was founded by Darrel Damon after he and his brother, Don, started Alert Alarm Of Hawaii in the mid ’60s. During the 1980’s the second generation entered the company. Now the third generation, Curtis Crawford and his wife Antonia (‘Toni’) have joined the Alert Alarm team.
Darrel, founder of Alert Alarm Company, has over 45 years of experience in the life safety and security business. He has over 2,570 installation and has seen multiple revolution in the industry, including the automatic dialer, and most recently the demise of the old style telephone system.
Curtis Crawford, Chief of Operations, is a former officer in the US Air Force. He graduated from Kansas State in 2007 with a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering. While in the Air Force, he was stationed at Kirtland AFB, New Mexico. His duties included lead safety officer for 3 laboratories and 2 admin areas, and facility manager for 40,000+ sq ft of buildings including 2 classified facilities. After serving 4 years helping protect America, he returned to Southwest Kansas to continue the family legacy of customer service.
Since our founding, we have been customer service centered. We do not participate in any ‘Dealer’ programs since we would not be able to serve our customers with the ‘make it right’ attitude that has made us successful.
